• Beliving he was the Holy Spirit in Human form, he began his teaching. (IGC p119)
• Later he found 2 companions, Priscila and Maximilla, that traveled and taught with him. (IGC p119)

• Later as Christians became more familar with the New Prophecy Movement, they started to distance themslves from it. (IGC p119)

• There are 3 ages of God's acitivity in the world that corespond with God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (IGC p119)
• The first age is the age of the Father. This is the history of the Jews and their relationship to God. (IGC p119)
• The second age is the age of the Son, which refers to Jesus. (IGC p119)
• The final age it the age of the Spirit, it is when the Kingdom of God would come into being. (IGC p119)
• The capital of the Kingdom of God would be Montanus's hometwon, Pepuza. (IGC p119)

• Originally a preist of Cybele (a manifestaion of Earth Goddess worship). (IGC p119)
• Converted ot Christianity around 144AD. (IGC p119)
• He belived he was posssed by the Holy Spirit and even went as far to say he was the Holy Spirit in human form. (IGC p119)
